Leyland Trade PVA adhesive & sealer 5L

Ready Mixed, easy to use water - borne multi-purpose adhesive for most common building and DIY materials.

Can also be used as a primer, dust sealer or admixture in a variety of applications.

Leyland PVA Adhesive & Sealer: - is a multi-purpose bonding agent, primer, sealer, cement and plaster admixture that adheres to most common building and DIY materials. Ideal for priming unsound surfaces prior to plastering or painting, as an adhesive on wood, cork, textiles and most applications where at least one surface is porous, and as a cement and plaster admixture.

Preparation- surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any other loose material, stir well before use.

Instructions for use- apply by brush, roller or spreader. Mix contents thoroughly before use. All bonding work must be done while the adhesive is still wet or tacky, but when using a primer or sealing agent each coat must be allowed to dry before further applications. when permanent dampness is anticipated, a waterproof PVA should be used as an adhesive bond or admixture.

Application-

For General Priming - Dilute 4 parts water to 1 part PVA bond

For a bonding coat - use undiluted and apply by brush, apply plaster or render while still tacky

As an Adhesive - use undiluted. Coat each face and press surfaces together, large areas should be clamped for 24 hours

As a cement admixture - add 10-15 litres of PVA bond to 50kg of cement.

As a filler /plaster mixture - dilute 1 to 1 with water and add to mix in place of water
